I began to build it 1991, it has taken me a long time to finish it, there are just a few details left. It was without electricity for many years but then my husband helped me in August this year, so now can I have lights as well! In my house lives a lawyer, he is a single man about 45 years old, he is an Englishman as a matter of fact (I don't know his name, but I am sure it will pop up someday....). He likes hunting and reading books, on the hunt this year, he shot a moose, it is not up on the wall yet, but will be soon!...Click here to see more

Hello, my dolls house was a birthday present last April from my boyfriend Gavin. It is my first house and I was a bit nervous I might make mistakes. After a few months of looking at it I eventually set to work. Gavin helped put the lighting in (he did most of it!) then I firstly decorated the exterior then the living room. The rest of the house was then papered, carpeted and furnished. I am still not finished....Click here to see more

Below are a few photos of one of my mum's dolls houses. It is hard to believe that the photos are not of a real house - if only the people were not so 'stiff' you could imagine that the rooms were real size. My favourite is the 1st floor landing, it actually looks warm, and you can see into the toilet through the open door!...Click here to see more

So I decided that, as I am retired and have plenty of time I would try and make her one myself. As my son and his family live in Germany I decided to make a pictorial record so that Becky could see how I made the house....Click here to see more

As you will see, it's still not finished, but my wife has already started to furnish it, and to help her remember which switch does what she has drawn a plan of the house and marked each light and wall socket with the appropriate switch number and pinned it to the back of the house!...Click here to see more

The Shop is a very good model of the Grocery & Pub where I lived in Kilkenny, Ireland, many years ago. I recently returned and took pictures of the inside. I used the picture blow-ups as my wallpaper. I even included myself in one, behind the bar. I had a lot of fun building the model... Click here to see more
